Privacy Policy

The values you paste — timestamps, dates, JWTs, JSON documents — are processed entirely within your browser and never leave your device. No personal data is collected.

We use Vercel Analytics to collect anonymous, aggregated page-view data: which pages are visited, referrer URL, browser and OS type, device category, and approximate country (derived from IP — the IP address itself is never stored). No cookies are used. No personal identifiers are recorded or retained.

TimeTools sets no cookies of any kind — not session cookies, not persistent cookies, not tracking cookies. There is no cookie banner because there is nothing to consent to.

Your browser’s localStorage is used solely to remember your own in-app preferences on your own device:

• –Theme choice (light or dark)
• –Hidden result rows
• –Pinned sidebar tools
• –World-clock timezone list

This data is stored only in your browser and is never read by our servers. You can clear it at any time through your browser’s developer tools or by clearing site data.

Many tools encode your input in the URL (e.g. ?value=1714500000) so results are bookmarkable and shareable. These parameters are not used for tracking, analytics, or identification — they exist only to make the link work.

Do not put sensitive values in the URL if you intend to share the link — for example, a JWT that grants production access should be decoded locally, not shared as a URL.

TimeTools is hosted on Vercel. As part of normal infrastructure operation, Vercel’s edge network records standard web-server logs: IP address, request path, HTTP method, status code, and timestamp. These logs are retained by Vercel according to their own Privacy Policy. We do not access these logs for user tracking or analytics.

TimeTools uses no advertising networks, social media widgets, or tracking scripts. The third-party services in use are:

• –Vercel Analytics — anonymous, cookie-free page-view analytics. See Vercel’s Privacy Policy.
• –Geist typeface — fetched and self-hosted at build time via Next.js font optimization. No Google Fonts request is made at runtime.

TimeTools does not sell personal data — we have none to sell. Because we do not collect or retain personal data on our own servers, most data-subject rights (access, correction, deletion, portability) have nothing to act on. The only third-party processing is the anonymous, aggregated analytics described above, which runs on Vercel’s infrastructure (including servers in the United States) under Vercel’s own privacy policy. TimeTools is a general-purpose developer tool. It is not directed at children and is not intended for use by anyone under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact us below and we will remove it.

If this policy changes in a meaningful way we will update the effective date at the top and note the change clearly. We will not retroactively apply new data practices to past visits.
